A score that means something
Rugby AI only scores what it can clearly read, so every number is one you earned.
About
A coach for the extra ten minutes.
Most rugby training happens alone, after practice, with nobody there to say whether you got it right. Rugby AI gives that time a coach.
Built for the player on the tape
Adults are first-class. Players 13 and up. Under 13 is not supported.
From the founder
I learned rugby from the sideline.
I played baseball and football. Then my youngest son, Ryan, found rugby in high school and never looked back.
I didn’t know the game, so I learned it from the sideline, asking questions and helping with youth rugby where I could. I fell in love with it too.
Here in the US, where the sport is still young, good coaching is hard to find and expensive. I write software, so I built Rugby AI. You don’t need to know rugby to help your player. You just need to hold the phone.

Who it’s for
The player putting in extra reps, and the parent or teammate holding the phone.
Where it fits
Match film is for the team. Rugby AI is for you, one rep at a time, on your own time.
18 March 2023
The day I was hooked for good.
Torrey Pines beat St Francis at Saddleback College to become the first Southern California team ever to win the All-California title. I was there.
