Running drills
Running drills you can film alone.
Carrying, and the two ways to beat a defender without touching one. Every drill here is solo, and cones stand in for defenders, so nothing on this page asks you to run at another player. Set the phone the same way the app needs: how to film a drill.
Carry and accelerate
Most players slow down to change direction. The carry has to hold together when you speed up instead.
Ball in two hands; accelerate onto the front foot; chin up and eyes past the cone.

A sidestep is a hard plant and a push. If the line you run is a curve, that is a swerve, and it is a different skill.
Short steps into the cone; plant wide of the line; push off the outside foot.

A swerve is not a soft sidestep. It is the option that costs no pace, and the whole point is that the speed never drops.
No hard plant; lean away from the cone; the same speed through the whole arc.
