Wall pass, two hands

This drill is high-rep passing volume alone, with both hands on the ball to release.

What good looks like

  • Two hands on the ball before the swing
  • Ball between waist and chest
  • Fingers point at the target after release

The drill

  1. Stand 3 meters from a flat wall, side-on, ball in two hands between waist and chest.
  2. Pass flat into the wall so the ball comes back to you on the full.
  3. Catch your own ball with hands up and go straight into the next rep.
  4. Swap your stance at the halfway mark so both sides get equal work.

Space

A flat wall or rebounder, one ball, 4m of run-off.

Make it harder / make it easier

Harder. Step back to 5 meters, or keep a full set alive without the ball touching the ground.

Easier. Move to 2 meters and pause between reps.
