Kicking drills
Kicking drills you can film alone.
A kick is struck with the foot, and the ball is dropped onto that foot, never tossed up to it. Every drill here is solo and retrieval-based: kick, walk, collect, reset. None of them asks you to kick at another person. Set the phone the same way the app needs: how to film a drill.
How to drop punt
Groove the drop. Almost every bad kick is a bad drop, not a bad swing.
Ball points down at the foot; the ball is dropped, not tossed; strike with the hard top of the foot.

Build a repeatable approach so the strike is the same every time.
The same approach every time; front shoulder at the target; plant foot beside the ball; leg finishes high.

Learn to kick down through the ball instead of under it.
Ball released in front of the foot; strike over the top of the ball; body stays forward over it.

Kick for a spot rather than for distance, which is what actually wins ground.
The drop stays straight under pressure to hit a target; leg stays fast through the ball; body carries forward.

The hardest drop in the game, because the ball has to hit the ground first.
The ball lands on its end; contact happens just after the bounce; the leg does not slow down.

Most players have half a kicking game. This is the other half.
The drop is the same on both feet; the standing foot still plants beside the ball; toes stay pointed.
